The Public-Health oriented approach of the forthcoming EU Health Programme should stimulate the Cam research community NOW to start thinking about CAM infrastructure and possible research fields, we might want to work together on an european level. The first step in this process is - in our opinion – to come to know each other interests and mutual needs better, in order to create possible research goals on the most realistic basis. This process should not wait till the first research calls are sent out. The Viennese Academy of Integrated Medicine – Gamed therefore decided to support this process among the CAM research community.
